Sinopsis
Este libro nace de una pregunta sencilla, pero poco atendida en la formación tradicional de los educadores físicos y los entrenadores deportivos: ¿qué ocurre realmente en el cerebro de una persona cuando aprende a moverse? Durante buena parte de la historia del entrenamiento deportivo, esa pregunta se ha respondido de manera intuitiva, apoyada en la tradición metodológica y en la repetición de esquemas heredados de generación en generación. Sin embargo, el vertiginoso desarrollo de la neurociencia cognitiva y afectiva de las últimas décadas ofrece hoy respuestas considerablemente más precisas, que este libro se propone poner al alcance de quienes forman, entrenan y acompañan a otros en el aprendizaje del movimiento humano.
Entrenamiento Deportivo y Neurodidáctica: Nuevas Perspectivas para el Aprendizaje Motor reúne, en once capítulos organizados en cinco partes, una revisión amplia y actualizada de los fundamentos científicos del entrenamiento deportivo, las bases neurofisiológicas del movimiento, los principios de la neurodidáctica aplicada al deporte, el papel de la cognición y la emoción en el rendimiento, y las metodologías más innovadoras que hoy integran la tecnología y el diseño instruccional al proceso de enseñanza motriz. Cada capítulo aborda un componente específico de este campo de conocimiento, pero el conjunto persigue un propósito unificado: mostrar que enseñar a moverse con eficacia no es un asunto exclusivamente técnico o físico, sino un proceso profundamente cognitivo, emocional y neurobiológico que merece ser comprendido con el mismo rigor con el que se comprende cualquier otro proceso de aprendizaje humano.
